How we work

A cleaner home starts with a cleaner process

The way we clean matters just as much as the final result. That is why we use separate tools for different areas, color-coded cloths, carefully selected products, and a written process our team follows in every home.

Less cross-contamination. Fewer harsh chemicals. A more thoughtful way to care for your home.

Every color has a purpose

A cloth used in a bathroom should never end up on a kitchen counter. Our color-coded system makes that easy to see and easy for our team to follow. You cannot spot cross-contamination by looking at a surface, which is exactly why the separation is built into the process rather than left to memory.

The same idea applies to our gloves

Bathroom gloves remain dedicated to bathrooms. Gloves used throughout the rest of the home stay separate.

What else we do differently

  • Separate tools for different areas

Kitchen brushes and sponges stay separate from bathroom tools. Each set travels in its own pouch, so nothing gets mixed together in a caddy on the way between rooms.

  • No bleach. No ammonia.

We choose effective products without relying on bleach or ammonia. Our sanitizers are hydrogen peroxide based, and that is what we carry rather than something we set aside when a job is stubborn.

  • Refillable instead of disposable

Where it is practical we buy concentrates and refill our working bottles, which keeps a good deal of packaging out of the process.

  • A fresh start for every home

Tools are sanitized after every house rather than at the end of the day. Cloths are washed daily in cold water, and tools are replaced at least once a week, sooner if they show wear.

  • Reusable where we can, disposable where it counts

Almost everything we use is washable microfiber. Paper towels are the exception and they stay in bathrooms, which is the one place that separation matters most.

  • Your toilet brush stays in your home

We use the brush already in your bathroom rather than carrying one from house to house.

A process our team can repeat

  1. The same written list, every room

Every visit follows the same checklist, which is how the result stays the same whoever is cleaning.

  2. Top to bottom

Cobwebs and light fixtures first, surfaces next, baseboards after that. Anything disturbed on the way down is picked up below.

  3. Floors last

Once the surfaces in a room are finished, we vacuum and then mop, and leave the room orderly.

  4. A walk through before we leave

We go back through the home against the same checklist, room by room, before we call it done.

Before we leave, we check our own work

Every visit ends with another walk through the home. Our team checks the work room by room against the written cleaning checklist before leaving.

We leave that checklist with you too, so you can see what was completed and who cared for your home that day.

Small details. One bigger idea.

We choose products based on what they need to clean, the surface they are being used on, and how they fit our approach to caring for homes without relying on bleach or ammonia.

Each of these choices is simple on its own. Together they create a cleaning process designed around the people and pets who live in the home, not just the surfaces inside it.

A thoughtful process for the place you call home
