Green Mop Cleaning Services LLC operates this website to describe our cleaning services and to let you request an estimate, contact us, apply for a job or complete client onboarding (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the website, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.

This policy covers this website. Once you become a client, scheduling, invoicing and payment are handled in Jobber, our client management system, with card payments processed by Stripe. Where that is relevant to your information, we say so below.

What We Collect

Everything below comes from a form you choose to fill in, except where noted.

When you request an estimate

Your name, email address and phone number
The service address, including unit, city, state and ZIP code
Details about the property: approximate size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, when it was last cleaned professionally, whether it is empty, recent renovation, pests or mold, and how you rate its current condition
What you want done, how often, and your preferred days and times
Anything you tell us about pets, children, priorities or access
Photographs, if you choose to attach them
How you heard about us
Whether you agreed to receive marketing email or marketing SMS

When you use the contact, commercial quote or client onboarding forms

The same kinds of contact and property details, and whatever you write in the message.

When you apply for a job

Your legal name, preferred name, phone, email, city and ZIP, your availability, and your answers about experience, transport and eligibility to work.

Automatically, when you visit

Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the links you click. This comes from our host’s server logs and, where enabled, from Google Analytics.

What We Do Not Collect

We want to be specific, because generic privacy policies often imply more than is true.

We do not take payment on this website, and we never see or store your full card details. No card numbers, no bank details and no payment information of any kind are collected by this website. When you pay us, you pay through Jobber Payments, the card processing built into Jobber, which is powered by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details on a form it hosts and stores them on its own systems under its own terms. Deposits and invoices are handled there once you are a client, not here.
There are no user accounts on this website. No usernames, no passwords, no login.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Address Suggestions

When you type into the street address field on the estimate form, what you type is sent to Google so it can suggest matching addresses. This happens as you type, before you submit anything. If you would rather not use it, type your address in full and ignore the suggestions: the form works either way.

We share what is necessary with the companies that run the parts of our business the website touches. Each acts on our behalf and under their own privacy terms.

Cloudflare hosts this website, processes the forms and stores any photographs you upload.
Jobber, our scheduling and client management system, receives estimate requests so we can prepare a quote and book the work. Jobber also holds your client record and your invoices.
Stripe provides the payment processing behind Jobber. If you pay us by card, Stripe is who collects and stores those card details. We can see that a payment succeeded and the last few digits; we cannot see your full card number.
Google receives form submissions into a private spreadsheet we use to prepare quotes, delivers our notification and confirmation emails, provides the address suggestions described above, serves the fonts on this site, and provides website analytics where enabled.

We may also disclose personal information where we are legally required to, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, our staff or the public. If the business is ever sold or merged, client records may transfer as part of it.

Photographs

Photographs you attach to an estimate request are stored by our host and are reachable by anyone who has the link. We use them only to prepare your quote and to brief the cleaning team. Please do not include people, documents or anything else you would not want us to hold. Ask us and we will delete them.

Text Messages

By selecting SMS as a communication option, you agree to receive text messages from Green Mop Cleaning Services LLC. Messages may include booking reminders, appointment details, walk-through information, and occasional marketing. Message and data rates may apply. Frequency may vary. You can text HELP for assistance or STOP at any time to opt out. Marketing SMS is a separate opt-in, and you can text STOP MKT to opt out of marketing messages while still receiving messages about your bookings.

We may share your number with the providers who help us deliver those messages, such as our messaging platform and phone carriers. Your consent to receive text messages, and your phone number as given for that purpose, are never shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Marketing Email

If you agreed to marketing email, you can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing message. You will still receive messages about an estimate or a booking you asked for.

How Long We Keep It

We keep estimate requests, enquiries and client records for as long as we need them to quote, to carry out the work, to keep proper business and tax records, and to resolve any dispute. Job applications are kept while we consider them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case a suitable role opens. You can ask us to delete any of it, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

We are a Massachusetts business and we serve Massachusetts only. Your information is processed in the United States.

Whatever state you live in, you can ask us to:

Correct it if it is wrong
Delete it
Send you a copy
Stop sending you marketing

If you visit this site with the Global Privacy Control signal enabled, we honour it. We do not respond to other “Do Not Track” signals.

Children

This website is meant for adults and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use ordinary technical measures to protect information sent through this site, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information such as identification or financial details through the forms on this site.

This website links to other sites, including our social media pages and Google. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them your information.

Changes

We may update this policy as our practices change. The revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
